Getting There

Valbella-Lenzerheide is situated in the East of Switzerland in the Canton Graubünden or Grisons in French. Valbella is a short 13 km from Chur (blue pin), the Capital of the Canton. By car from Zurich via Chur to Valbella it will take you less than two hours over the highway A3 to Chur and then up a mountain road to Valbella. The Alpine valley can also be reached by public tansport: take the train from Zurich to Chur and change there to the Post Bus to Valbella (station Posthotel). From there take a taxi up to the house. It is best to pre-book; taxi companies operate with mini vans to take all the luggage (e.g. Rothorn Taxi, Tel. 081 384 13 13 or Taxi Nazifi, Tel. 076 346 58 85).

Planning Your Trip

If you come by car, please be aware that in winter a  4x4 or snow chains are needed, depending on the snow fall and road condition between Valbella and the house. Also please note that all parking areas between Valbella and the house are private. If you are uncomfortable to drive up the mountain, there is a public parking lot behind the Posthotel Valbella, where you can park your car for max. 7 days. From there you can take a taxi and then ski out and in from the vacation house.

In high season, winter and summer, sport buses operate free of charge throughout the valley. Moreover, the ski ticket is also valid on the train and Post busses between Arosa and Lenzerheide.
